Where is the oil filter on a 2002 camry and how do u change it, and the oil? Is it easy for a dummy ?

The oil filter is in the front of the engine...towards the bottom. It is a oval shaped cannister. Changing oil is a simple task. Make sure that you have a storage container that can hold 5 quarts of used oil. Before changing the oil, remove the cap where you put the oil in. Then remove the bolt on the bottom of the car where the oil is held (crankcase). After oil has drained, then remove the oil filter. Then put the bolt back on the crankcase. Install a new oil filter. Run some new oil around the oil filter gasket before installing. Fill with 5 quarts of 5w30 motor oil. Put the oil cap back on. Start car and check for leaks. yes get something to drain oil in and take the bolt out of the oil pan take of fd filter put oil on the new filter and replane oil drain plug and fill oil to manf spec
