Did AC Delco quite making PF59 oil filters and if so what is the substitute oil filter?

I was told that the PF61 oil filter is the new substitute oil filter for the PF59. This if for 2001 Chevy Silverado, 5.3 liter.Did AC Delco quite making PF59 oil filters and if so what is the substitute oil filter?
they dont stop making filters if they changed the # tell the parts guy what motor u have
