Finding the oil filter on a 1998 pathfinder?

yeah...working on a newer car of mine and im having troubles finding the oil filter, help?Finding the oil filter on a 1998 pathfinder?
Okay well here it goes.


Most likely you have a 3.0 liter or a 3.3 liter engine.


Standing in front of the car look on the passenger side of the air filter housing. There will be a metal heat shield there. reach down and kinda in towards the center, youll feel it.


If it's got a nissan manufacturer filter on it, Nissan filters are black so it might be tough to see but its there.The owners manual may have a picture in there too
