What do you think the white creamy substance is that i saw on my oil filter cap. it?

ive got a hyundai 2003 elantra 2003 that has only done 22000 miles, what do you think the white creamy substance is that i saw on my oil filter cap. it was only a little bitWhat do you think the white creamy substance is that i saw on my oil filter cap. it?
Don't worry about it , it's the cold weather. What do you think the white creamy substance is that i saw on my oil filter cap. it?
It could be water froffed up. I would check with a mechanic for a blown head gasket. I had a honda that leaked water into the oil and looked a little like what you are describing.
If your not overheating or using any water then dont worry. Its just due to condensation. Clean it off, might be an idea to have a look at the engine breather pipe.
water mixed with oil. to possibillities condensation or head gasket. if its the latter then it could be an expensive job. sorry

just get it checked
Its condensation in your oil. Nothing serious, just from stop and go, and short distance driving. If your driving habits dont change, change your oil more often
it is an emulsification of oil and water caused usually by a faulty head gasket only a little bit may mean nothing as a bit of water could have got into your system by condensation but if it gets worse then it is definately your head gasket monitor it closely and if it gets worse call a garage/mechanic as the oil degrading can cause excess wear to your pistons and moving engine parts if you have a friend who is an amateur mechanic ask if they have got a compression tester as this can help in the diagnosis of a faulty head gasket i hope you find this usefull Karl
Could just be condensation, or if there is any change in water temp, then thats a sign of a faulty head gasket.
