That oil filter is located on the driver side near the rear of the engine block. You can see it and access it easily from underneath the engine.I was wondering where the oil filter is located on a 1998 Chevy Cheyenne 4x4 5L V8?
Factory placement was bottom left beside the oil pan at the back by the bellhousing.
