all engines are about the same they all function the same way ,unless they are electric,all gas engines require service at least every 1500 miles,at the very least,unless you use synthetic oil then they can go a lot farther on an oil change,the smaller the engine is though the sooner it will need an oil change,small engines tend to rev more and gain more rpms and that breaks the oil down a lot faster than on a larger engine,and the amount of oil any engine holds will determine how much it has to be changed also,good luck.
