If I remember correctly it`s a canister filter not a spin on. Drivers side slighly forward of the middle of the motor. It`s a


(approx) 5'; silver colored cyl pointing up with a 14mm bolt. You can reach it from the top, not the bottom. Been a while since I worked on one.Where It he Oil Filter on a 94 BMW 530i?
at the bottom of the car... as all other automobiles. Its at the bottom of the Engine.


You cant find it is because most of the German cars has a Plastic mud guard covering rest of the stuff under the hood. It protects the A/C, radiators, and other good stuff from Road Debris





Look carefully, take off the plastic cover underneath the car,


It should be hooking up w/ the bumper.


then you will find the Oil filter.
