Where is the location of the oil filter on a 2001 Chevy Suburban? We can't find it!?

My husband wants to do the oil change on our 2001 Suburban, but he can't find the oil filter on the Suburban. He has changed it on all our other cars, newer and older, but he can't find the filter on this one.Where is the location of the oil filter on a 2001 Chevy Suburban? We can't find it!?

Check if there's a skid plate, sometimes they're behind the skid plate which you have to remove to change the oil filter.A skid plate is a thick metal sheet to protect your engine from damage and is under the oil pan, or the engine





Also, check for oil lines coming from the engine, the oil filter is sometimes up by the radiator close to the oil cooler( radiator for engine oil).
