Not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure that on both the 4-cylinder and 6-cylinder models the oil filter is at the bottom of the engine on the side closest to the radiator. You'll have to put the truck up on a lift or jack it up (be sure to use stationary jack stands for safety), crawl under the front of the car, and look into the gap between the engine and the radiator. The oil filter will be white if it's a Motorcraft (made by Ford) and it will be about the size of a can of Foster's lager, maybe a little fatter. If I'm wrong about the location, it would be farther back -- look between the engine and the firewall that separates the engine compartment from the passenger compartment of the truck.
