I cant find the oil filter to my 2000 audi a4 quattro!?

Where is it located on the vehicle?I cant find the oil filter to my 2000 audi a4 quattro!?
What motor do you have? 1.8 4 cyl turbo or the V6?





I had a Passat 1.8L which is the same as the audi. My filter was more visible from the top of the engine on the drivers side - underneath the large black hose. I think the hose was the air intake hose. It was a messy oil change. I used to loosen it and take it out from the top. I just unscrewed the coolant reservoir so I could move a smaller black hose slightly to pull the filter out.
