Where is the oil filter and oil plug on a 2003 Toyota MR2?

The plug will normally be at the lowest point on the oil pan under the car. The filter is not so easy. On some Toyota's there is a plastic panel that attaches to the front bumper and runs to the front end suspension. I've seen filters in between the radiator and the front of the engine and the only way to get to them is to remove the panel. It's not hard to do if you have a simple ratchet set with Metric sockets. If you're vehicle has a plastic panel, most likely, the filter is behind it.Where is the oil filter and oil plug on a 2003 Toyota MR2?
The plug should be at the bottom of the oil pan.


The filter should be on the engine block. Check the owners manual for the exact location. If you don't have a manual, get a Chilton's at your local auto supply store.
