No, because it won't slide inside the cylinder. A ring compressor usually slips into the cylinder at least 3/4-1 inch to allow you to pull the piston inside with the rings still compressed. Only if it will compress the rings so the piston will fit in the cylinders. It sounds like a pain to me.
