Undo the sump plug with bowl under let oil drain and take off oil filler cap.when drained unscrew oil filter you made need a chain for that and oil will come out so watch your delicate hands.Once drained do up sump plug put in new oil filter and smear clean oil around rubber on oil filter then refill with oil.How do you do a oil and filter change on 525i sport 01 reg?
Okay, its sounds like you want to do a mini service on your beamer, well you will need an oil filter strap , get one from a car shop ,they will tell you how to use it , then you need flushing oil and a new filter , they will also tell you how to do this also,as for your plugs ask them where they are I think you need 6 ,once located they are easy to change, dont forget to put the drain plug back before you top up with new oil,price for the lot , round about 拢120.
