Get a Honda filter, they are good. When you get an oil change at a Honda dealer, they change the drain plug gasket every time - so get one of those too, because they were never meant to be used more than once.


I use PureOne filters in my pick-up truck, but they are more expensive than the Honda ones I get for my Accord. But by the time you drive to a store to get a filter and then to a dealer to get the right gasket, you could save a bundle and get them both at the dealer.


Avoid cheapies (like Fram) - if you ever cut one open and compare it with a better quality one, you will instantly know what I am talking about.
i have always used fram oil filters and have really liked them, but i recently got a k%26amp;n oil filter and i really liked it because they are a lot stronger and they have a specially designed bolt head on the end of them for easy removal and installation. so i recommend either of those. hope i helped.
